Intrepid locals took to the slopes for an exceedingly early pre-season shred as Niseko enjoyed another week of amazing powder snow.
The influx of snow seems to have spurred on some hurried repatriation, with many locally-based foreign companies and businesses settling back in, bringing a bit of bustle back to what was seemingly recently a sleepy summer town.
After some fairly forceful snowstorms, the accumulated snowfall total was brought up to a healthy 44cm in November alone— already outstripping November 2014/15’s 30cm, and well on track to overtake last season’s November tally of 60cm by the end of the month— and leaving us (not so) quietly confident that this season will be one to remember!
