With the ever warmer weather, Montys has once more opened their doors, welcoming Hirafu to their delightful summer eatery. Boasting an elegant fusion of such locally sourced ingredients as Tokachi beef, Hakodate squid and Rusutsu pork with European boutique inspired dining, Montys is a must-dine spot this summer.
Both breakfast and tea sets are being offered, including some welcoming western additions to the normal Niseko fare, including dessert waffles with chocolate, nuts, fruit and a sprinkling of moreish cinnamon sugar—and yoghurt granola topped with fresh fruit, nuts, and a decadent drizzle of thick hokkaido honey.
Sample the sumptuously velvety Hakodate squid-ink pasta, laden with fresh salmon and a fragrant fennel cream sauce, or tuck into the delicious herb-stuffed Rusutsu pork schnitzel main—this deutschland inspired dish is accompanied by traditional schwaben potatoes and a light and pleasantly piquant carrot remoulade.
Take advantage of the summer sunshine and enjoy the range of traditional Japanese bar snacks that accompany a thirst-quenching collection of ice-cold drinks, or choose from a tasteful selection of light continental dishes and hearty restaurant meals crafted lovingly from fresh and local Hokkaido-sourced ingredients.
